I used to look out my windows at the world when I was little. I later worked at the shipping company that my mother and her business created when I was a college student. I haven't actively watched or even given the logistics sector much thought in a long time. But the other day, one of my closest friends—a man who remembers every little thing about my high school and college—said to me, "There are a lot of logistical problems with India, especially with shipping. Based in Bombay, my company is the biggest shipping company in India. The logistics are inefficient, notwithstanding our profitability.
But I don't think we can make this adjustment too quickly." This astonished me to hear. Maybe there is still time to delay the fulfillment of some logistics requirements in India. For now, the anticipation of an Indian IPO will have to wait.
